Buy vending machines to grow your business

Buy Vending Machines Contents

1. Buying from vending machine companies

2. Buying used vending machines

If you are starting out in vending, we recommend that you start by buying one used vending machine from ebay or the local classifieds.

Road test the machine at home so that it will give you an idea of how the machine works, how it can malfunction, how much money it can make and how long it will take to refill.

Once you feel comfortable that the machine is profitable then you can consider increasing the number of machines you own.

How many vending machines should you buy? The number of machines you buy depends on your budget, time and most importantly your business plan.

Here are a few ways to buy vending machines to build your business.

1. Buy from vending machine companies (new machines)

2. Buy used vending machines

3. Buy a vending machine business

Is your goal to have 10 vending machines or 200 vending machines? Do you have a limited budget or want to take over the vending world? Do you want to do vending part time or full time?

Whatever your plan, it is important to start small, learn from your mistakes and grow from there. Don’t be rushed into spending your entire vending budget only to be disappointed by the profitability or the time and effort it takes to make money in vending.

If you intend to buy a lot of new machines from the Vending Company keep in mind that it will be very stressful for you to store them (they come in boxes and you assemble them yourself), put all the machines together, calibrate them, stock them, pack them in the van, locate them etc. You will definitely need an extra pair of hands.

If you have a decent budget, you might consider investing 25% now and waiting a few months before spending the rest. With your first order of new machines you can find vending locations, get in the habit of ordering stock, do a run to refill and collect money etc.

After a few months you’ll be ready to order more machines but will armed with more knowledge and experience.

The alternative to buying from a Vending Company is to buy an established vending business. An established business will save you a lot of time having to setup the machines, find sites and find suppliers because all the hard work has already been done for you. You can just step into the shoes of the previous owner.
