The vending commission you pay to a location can vary between 10% to 40% of your vending sales.
If you pay vending commissions to a location, the money will often go towards a staff social fund, like paying for the end of year staff party or to pay for electricity and up keep of your machine.
Avoid getting into a negotiation over the commission as the money is not a lot in dollar terms and can sour the relationship before it begins.
If they ask for more, say thankyou but we can’t offer you that because we are not talking about a lot of money each month. However, we can offer (whatever % you offered originally) and great service and great products in the vending machine. How does that sound? Should we go ahead with it?
